Biography
Joanne is an active certified public accountant and has been in the accounting-related field for almost 20 years. She currently works as a consultant, providing accounting and tax advice to small and medium-sized businesses that eagerly need professional help to succeed financially. Meanwhile, she is pursuing her Doctor of Business Administration degree at the University of Dallas.
Before this, she held different accounting leadership roles in various real estate companies, leading accounting departments or multiple teams consisting of 15 up to 50 accounting professionals. In her roles, she focused on daily accounting operations to ensure financial statements were prepared accurately and timely for internal and external clients, accounting process improvement, leading annual audit projects, budgeting, training, and team management.
Joanne received her Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. She lives with her husband, two daughters, and one dog in Allen, TX.
